I rarely ever eat fruit, I’ll buy it and put it in the fridge and just forget it’s there. I know that I need to make sure that I eat more so I thought the best way to do that would be to start making juices and smoothies! I found this blueberry muffin smoothie recipe at iowagirleats.
To make it you need:
1/2 cup milk
170g vanilla greek yogurt
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 frozen banana
1/4 cup raw uncooked oats
1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 cup ice cubes
Then just blend all the ingredients together until it’s nice and smooth.
I also made a raspberry version swapping the blueberries for fresh raspberries and some frozen mixed berries.
I made one yesterday and one this morning, and they taste really good, as well as being really filling.
