Anastasia Beverly Hills | Contour Kit & Dipbrow Pomade

I had a little splurge this week and ordered these two beauties by Anastasia Beverly Hills. I've been looking for a contour kit for absolutely ages, and I saw a review on this one, which is the light/medium version, and I just had to have it. I already have the Dipbrow Pomade in Chocolate, but felt the colour was a little too warm and didn't match well with my dark hair, and it was running low anyway, so I decided to order it in Dark Brown. The Contour Kit is priced at £39.00 and the Dipbrow Pomade at £15.00.

The contour kit is gorgeous, the swatches are from left to right but I've only swatched them lightly so obviously if you build them up a bit more they would apply a little darker than in the picture.

Sand is a shimmery highlight, whereas Vanilla and Banana are both matte highlights. Java, Fawn and Havana are all matte shades, and Java and Fawn are the two cooler toned shades, with Havana being a slightly warmer shade.

If you're pale skinned like I am, then I suggest using Fawn as your contouring colour and Sand as a nice shimmery highlight, but to be honest, I use all three highlights, as they all work on pale skin. Banana is also a nice yellow toned shade that I use to set my under-eye concealer.

As for the dipbrow pomade, I'm very happy with the colour and will definitely continue to use this for a long time to come. It's waterproof and smudge proof and it really does stay put, but also washes off really easily. I did actually mention this product in another post, and you can see what brush I use to apply it with here. This is what it looks like on me, please excuse my messy hair and the awful lighting!

Overall I'm really happy with these two purchases, they were well worth the splurge! Have you used either of these products? Let me know what you think!

    1. I've heard good things about the Brow Wiz, but I've been through eyebrow pencils, powders & creams and this is my favourite product out of them all :)

  4. your brows are making me hate you! Not really, a jealousy hater thing..lol
they look AWESOME. sadly my brows used to have some "oomph" to them but when my thyroid went wonky the brows followed. The thyroid is evil, if it goes haywire the ends of your brows thin out!
My poor waxer was like "what did you do to them?!" LOLZ
Ive been contemplating an eyebrow powder. Ive heard Anastasia of BH is awesome & dip brow. Someone also told me to go to a brow bar.
Contouring is awesome but I am such a beginner. I would look like someones baby drew streaks on my face! lol
    Fabulous reviews :)
