Too Faced Primed & Poreless Oil Free Primer Review

Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pure Oil Free Primer – £24.00

I bought this primer last week because I’ve been wanting a good face primer for a while, but one that’s going to keep my face matte all day and stop my makeup coming off and going patchy around my T-Zone area. I use the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer on a daily basis and it definitely helps to control my oil but it doesn’t make my face smooth and cover my pores, which is something I want in a primer, particularly on special days.

So this primer is a gel formula, and the consistency is a little thick but it’s not too hard to spread around the face, it makes your face feel super soft and smooth, but I feel a little slippery at first, my dipbrow was really really hard to put on at first as my eyebrows kept smudging all over the place, but I think you just have to leave the primer to set for a few minutes before you put on your foundation. I just applied my powder over my face when it was a bit slippery and then my brows were completely fine and went back to their budge proof self.

After using this primer a couple of times, I have noticed that my skin is getting a lot less oily than normal which is great, and I have noticed that my pores are not as obvious as they once were. I’ve only used two face primers in my time so I can’t say whether it’s the best or worst primer I’ve ever used, but I think I will be saving this for ‘special days’ and using my Rimmel Stay Matte primer on a normal/casual day.

I think the next primer I’m going to try out is the new L’oreal Infallible Mattifying one, as well as the foundation, so watch out for that review!
