March Favourites

Happy first of the month! This is my first monthly favourites post and there is a lottttt of things that I've been loving lately, some things I've had for a while and other things are quite new. Everything is beauty related except one item, have a read through to find out what I've been loving recently!

Rimmel Wonder'Full Mascara
I don't really have a 'go to' mascara and I usually just go into boots and buy whatever takes my fancy, and the last one that I picked up was Rimmel's Wonder'Full Mascara. I have the shortest eyelashes possible and this is one of the few mascara's that really separates and lengthens my lashes with zero clumps, I love it!

Mac Eyeshadow in Jest (swatch above)
I got this eyeshadow last March funnily enough, and I stopped using for ages, but last month as we entered Spring, I wanted to wear lighter colours on my eyes and this is a shadow that I reached out for again. It's a soft peachy shimmer that can be used as a highlight on the inner corner of the eyes or as a pretty subtle wash of colour all over the lid.

Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen
I've loved Barry M's liquid eyeliner for as long as I can remember but last month I saw a review on this little thing and decided to try it out. I absolutely love it, it's so easy to quickly apply an even line if I'm having a day where I really can't be bothered spending ages on my eye makeup. It's not as easy to create a wing, but it's not super difficult either.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette
This is my new holy grail contour palette, it's so so good, the colours are just perfect for my skin tone and the highlights are beautiful. If you want a full review and swatches of this palette, I posted them here.

Urban Decay's Naked 3 Palette
Everyone must surely know about this palette by now, but I bought it last year as soon as it came out and it's something I haven't reached for in ages. But as it's now Spring, I decided that I wanted to wear some more pink and rose gold shades on my lids and I've been using this palette on a daily basis. There's such a nice collection of shades and I can still wear a smokey eye as well as a subtle wash of pink shimmer.

Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pure Oil-Free Face Primer
I got this last month and it's the first high end primer I have invested in and I have no regrets! I was originally going to get the normal version but then I saw the oil-free version next to it and got that instead due to my oily skin. It keeps my face matte for ages and makes my skin so smooth, I love it. I did a review on it here.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation
This is another new product to my beauty collection, which is a foundation that I've been wanting to try for ages and finally caved. I again have no regrets about buying this, it's possibly my holy grail foundation, I just don't like to wear it on a daily basis because I feel like it's such a waste of an expensive product! I also did a review on this here.

Soap & Glory Peach Party Blush
I bought this blusher last week and it's made it into my March favourites because I fell in love with it at first swatch. I'm not a huge fan of blusher and I tend to go for the peachy shades as they are quite subtle on my pale cheeks, or I don't wear any blush and just contour & highlight. With this I get the best of both worlds because it's super shimmery and gives my cheeks a gorgeous glow as well as a subtle hint of peach and I just love how it looks. You can apply it all in one or use the bricks separately as shadows or highlights, but I like wearing it all together!

Wet n Wild Cherry Bomb Lipstick
I'm a huge vampy lip lover and I had seen a few good reviews on Wet n Wild's Cherry Bomb lipstick, and as it's so affordable, I thought that I may as well try it out. I love love love the colour, it's a dark plum colour and is so pretty, very autumny but I wear colours like this all year round! I got mine from ebay as it's a US product.

Mac Lipstick in Vegas Volt
This is a lipstick that is the perfect shade for Spring and Summer and I've been wearing a lot lately. It's a bright coral shade and matches perfectly with my eyes when I use my naked 3 palette. I did a review on it here.

Paperchase List Book
I found this little thing in House of Fraser last week and I have been using it ever since. It's a book full of different types of notes that you can keep lists of everything on. I am a huge list maker and my phone is full of all kinds of lists but sometimes it can be annoying to have to constantly go on my phone to look at them, so this little book is the perfect solution! It's so so cute and I love the design of it, paperchase have so many cute things, I wanted to buy it all!

Kiko Nail Varnish in Coral Pink
I love Kiko's nail varnish range, they have like a zillion shades to choose from, and they're so cheap. I have quite a collection of them myself. This is a shade that I've been loving lately as it's the perfect shade for spring and it's really girly and pretty.

So those are all of my March faves, I could easily have added in so much more but I'll save them for another month. What were you loving last month?

    1. It's so pretty isn't it?! Thanks x

  5. I love your photos, the products you picked are amazing, and I love that you included many photos and swatches. Love the wet n wild lipstick shade :)

  6. I was going to try that mascara a few days ago when I was in Boots but opted for Maybelline Lash Sensational instead because I usually love their mascaras. I wish I'd gotten the Rimmel one instead now, I wasn't overly impressed with the Lash Sensational

  8. I'm so jealous of all those products. I really want that naked palette but sadly enough they don't sell it in Belgium...
