My Top Three Red Lipsticks!

Hey guys, today I thought I’d share my three go-to red lipsticks. There’s nothing I love more than a bold red lip, I wear them during the day as well as on an evening, they spice up any makeup look! My top three aren’t your usual bullet type lipsticks, two are liquid lipsticks and one is a lip stain. This is because I think there is nothing worse than wearing a really bold lip colour and having it half come off throughout the day or when eating, and these three really stain the lip and last an amazing amount of time.

Rimmel Provocalips 16 Hr (550 Play with Fire)

I got this fairly recently and at first I wasn’t keen on it but after a second try I found that it stayed on for hours and really lives up to its name! It is a gorgeous deep red that requires a couple of coats to really build it up but at £6.99 it is amazingly good quality for the price tag. The lipstick itself goes on like a gloss and dries matte, it also comes with a clear gloss that I don’t particularly like, but you can use this to prolong the staying power if you wish.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick (Fiery)

If you read my posts frequently, you’re probably sick of me talking about this product, but it’s without a doubt my favourite lipstick ever. Again, this is a deep red lipstick, which looks very red in the sunlight and more of a darker red in the shade. I absolutely love this product, it is literally such a task to get it off after having worn it all day, it’s completely budge proof, even during eating and drinking! Some may not like that it’s hard to remove, but I would rather that than having to constantly touch up my lipstick and worry about it being smudged everywhere. The lipstick dries matte and hardly requires any product for a super bold lip, the formula is so pigmented. These lipsticks cost £15 each and I think they are more than worth it, I have had this one for absolutely ages and I wear it so much so they really last!

Seventeen Lip Stain (Berry Crush)

This is another double ended lipstick, with one felt tip end for your colour and the other side is like a sort of lip balm I think? This is the newest lipstick to my collection and I really love it. I wanted a lighter red and when I saw this I thought for £4.99 it’s worth a shot. It really does stay on well and it’s a gorgeous shade of red. The only downside to this is that you really have to build it up if you want a bold lip, but I still put it in my top three because of it’s price and it’s lasting power.
