April Favourites

Hi everyone! I almost skipped my monthly favourites this month as it’s slightly late due to uni deadlines, but I decided to post it anyway. I have splurged on a few different things this month so I thought that I’d put a couple of them in my faves and show you what I’ve bought!

L’oreal Infallible 24 Hour Matte Foundation | Available Here
First off, I invested in this foundation to see what all the fuss was about, and it is the best drugstore foundation I’ve ever tried! It’s a liquid foundation with a consistency that’s in the middle of thick and thin, it’s not runny but it’s not like mud either. I have the shade ‘Porcelain’ which is the perfect pale shade. I usually go for a more yellow toned foundation due to my red skin, but this one covers everything perfectly, the coverage is amazing and I barely have to use any concealer, sometimes I don’t bother at all. If you read most of my posts, you will know that I suffer with extremely oily skin and I haven’t even had to touch up with powder with this foundation, which is saying a lot, this is very rare for me. I’m super impressed with this foundation, especially for the price of £7.99, I’ve already bought another for when it runs out!
Mac 15 Pan Eyeshadow Palette | Available Here
I was lying in bed unable to sleep one night, a week and a bit ago, and I started thinking about having my own 15 pan eyeshadow palette from Mac, and how great it would be. Next thing you know, I have one ordered along with 6 eyeshadows. I’m calling it a 7 week early 21st birthday present to myself. I am compleeeeetely in love with it, it’s so beautiful. I already owned 5 eyeshadows, so now I only need 4 to fill it! I’m not going to go into detail about what eyeshadows are in there with swatches etc because I want to save that for a full post on it when it’s completed. I just had to show it off because it’s still fairly new! It’s the best thing ever.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer | Available Here
This is another product that I really wanted to try, and as my Mac Studio Fix Concealer was coming to an end, I decided to get the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in replacement. I got this in the shade ‘Custard’ and I actually think this shade is way too dark for my pale skin, even though it looked right online, I should have checked first! So I’m going to get another in a lighter shade, but the concealer itself is so good at covering up blemishes, dark under eye circles, etc, so the formula gets a thumbs up from me. It’s also a dream to blend.
Mac Shy Girl | Available Here
I bought this lipstick a while ago, but I’ve never really reached out for it as I felt the nude was a bit too peachy for my liking. However, last month, I opted to put it on for the day and I realised that I actually really love it and started wearing it all the time! It glides on super easy and is the perfect nude for a quick and simple application.
House of Lashes in Pixie Luxe
I’ve wanted to try House of Lashes for so long, but as they’re from the US, they’re hard to get hold of over here. However, I found some on Ebay when I was having a browse, and I just had to get them. These ones in particular are so so pretty, they have a really natural look to them but with a lot of length. They have become my favourite pair of false eyelashes already!
Revlon Precision Lash Adhesive
I also bought this Revlon lash adhesive along with my lashes, as I’ve never had a lash glue that has survived in the wind. This one is amazing and really keeps them on all day, I haven’t actually been in the wind with lashes on yet, but I can already tell that this glue is 10 times stronger than what I used to use.
Kiko Double Ended Lipstick in 114 | Available Here
This is a lipstick I’ve had for ages now that I’ve never really used much but lately I’ve been experimenting with plum lips and this one has become a fast favourite, it’s almost ran out now! It reminds me of a dark Kylie Jenner lip, and I just love the formula of these lipsticks because they stay on all day.
Barry M Quick Dry in Pit Stop
I bought this nail varnish when looking for a light grey colour and I love it so much, I’ve been wearing it everyday since buying it. It has a lilac hint to it but it’s so neutral and when it comes to nails and fashion, I am all about those neutral colours, so this is the perfect shade for me!
And that’s all of my April faves, what have you guys been loving this month?
