Introducing Little Ondine

Little Ondine are a new innovative nail polish brand that have produced an all in one formula that's composed of natural, non-toxic ingredients. They contacted me and asked me if I would like to review their new product, and being the nail polish obsessive that I am, of course I said yes! They are currently focusing on the launch of Little Ondine in the UK and I think you guys are going to love this product so here are my thoughts after trying it out.

First of all, the packaging is just gorgeous, from their really cute logo to the box they come in, I love it all, it's really unique. The packaging opens like a box with slots that open out at each side, it's pretty cool actually! Inside there are lots of little icons and instructions on how to use the product to ensure you apply it properly so that it lasts as long as possible. There's also a little leaflet inside with illustrated instructions too. It's a very modern looking product and I really love that being a designer myself.

They have a huge colour range, I chose two colours which were 'Chai Latte' and 'Marshmallow.' I wasn't too impressed with Marshmallow, it looked like an off white on the website and it came and was more of a light muddy brown... I can't say I like the colour so I won't be wearing that one. However, Chai Latte is a gorgeous chocolate brown and I love it, that's the shade I'm currently wearing.

SO, on to the nail polish formula itself. It dries within minutes, literally minutes, which is like a miracle worker for me, I can paint my nails and they still smudge after 2 hours, it drives me insane. So you can imagine how impressed I am with it, just from this alone.

It is also a polish that peels off, rather than having to use nail polish remover, you simply just peel it. I usually put 3 layers on my nails with a polish to prevent it from chipping easily, and it takes me about 5 hours to get it off again, so this is another huge attraction. The first shade I applied was Marshmallow, the one I don't like, so I got to test out this peel off theory and it honestly just peeled off like a layer of plastic! Amazing.

Another great thing about this formula is that because it is genuinely like a layer of plastic on your nail, you don't have the problem of it chipping like a paint. I absolutely hate chipped nails, there's nothing worse. The only thing is if you have some of the polish hanging over the edge of your nail slightly or around the side, it will get caught and peel off easily. So all you have to do is make sure you've applied it properly and removed any excess around the edges of your nail before it dries. Easy.

As long as you follow these simple rules, the polish will last you ages. I've also noticed that my nails are quite glossy too, without even applying a top coat or anything, this formula is insane! So yeah, I can't recommend this brand enough to be honest, it's everything I've ever wanted from a nail polish. I can definitely see this being my go-to brand for nail polish from now on, watch this space, I'll have their whole collection soon.

The polishes are £8.40 each, which is a little more expensive than a drugstore polish, but you can skip the cost of a top coat, nail polish remover and cotton pads as you won't be needing any of them, so it does work out to be worth it! You're sure to find a colour you like as they have loads to say they're a new brand.

If you'd like to try out this brand you can use the code 'TRYME' to get £5 off your first order, plus free delivery if you spend over £15. Find the colour range here.
