November Makeup Routine

My makeup routine changes all of the time, I tend to experiment with new eyeshadows and products and then I will continuously use them for a period of time until I get bored or find something new. For the past few weeks, this has been my favourite go-to routine, I've been loving bronze tones combined with nude lips. I do like to wear dark shades on my lips during the winter months but I find the upkeep and the worry of it smudging all around my mouth too much for everyday wear, so I mostly stick to wearing nudes. My last post was all about this bronze eye look, so I'm not going to go into the products I used for that, I'm just going to go through the rest of my routine. I don't always wear eye makeup this heavy, if I can be bothered with the concentration that winged eyeliner requires then I will wear it, otherwise I just smoke my lash line out a bit with a dab of black eyeshadow and throw on some mascara!

I start by priming my face with Rimmel's Stay Matte Primer and then applying my Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in 1N1 Ivory Nude. This combo is my favourite to wear, Estee Lauder DW is the only foundation that stops the crease lines in my forehead from appearing, as well as keeping me matte all day with no cakeyness around my nose and chin. Every other foundation I've used does none of this, so it's definitely my holy grail now!

I usually don't need to conceal anything with this foundation, but I often use my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly under my eyes to help conceal my dark circles and if I have any blemishes, I will pop my Mac Studio Fix Concealer in NC15 over them.

I then set my face with my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, couldn't live without this!

I bronze & contour my cheek bones and my nose with the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette, and I use The Balm's Mary Lou Manizer to highlight.

You can read about my eyebrow & eye makeup routine for this look here.

I then line my lips with Topshop's Lipliner in Ceramic & apply my Mac lipstick in Shy Girl on top.

And that's all I use for this look! It feels like I use a lot more when I actually do my makeup, must be because of all the brushes I use on top. Let me know if you have a current makeup routine post up!
