Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick: Penelope Pink.

You have to admit, Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks are the prettiest lipsticks everrrr.

I’m sure everyone has seen the new Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips range circling the blogosphere by now. I know I have, and every time I’ve seen a post on them I’ve been desperately wanting to get my hands on one of the shades. I’ve been trying my best not to splurge on new makeup lately (apart from a few drugstore bits) but I’m 32 weeks pregnant now and I’m suffering with some crappy symptoms as well as getting pretty nervous about giving birth and you know what? A new lipstick is the way to make a girl feel a bit better. So here it is, the little gem that I picked up. I was originally going to get a shade from the matte revolution range (I still might) but I then decided to pick a shade up from the new hot lips range instead…

So I got the Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick in ‘Penelope Pink’ which I believe is a shade from CT that already existed but was re-released into the new range, with the new bullet and the cute little lip print embossed into the front of it. I’ve been all about cremesheen lipsticks lately which is why I picked this one up, it just looked like the perfect nude. It’s very similar to Bitch Perfect if you have that, it’s just more nude and less pink, which I like. I have become a bigger fan of a pink lipstick than I was, but I still love my peachy nudes, which basically sums up this shade. It’s the same formula as Bitch Perfect too, so if you have any lipsticks from the K.I.S.S.I.N.G range then it has the same cremesheen formula, with a moisturising finish. It also reminds me a lot of Mac’s Shy Girl actually, just maybe not as much peach and more nude.

If you want a lipstick that has shine, is moisturising, and is the perfect everyday nude, this is it. It applies really nicely on it’s own or it would go lovely paired with a nude lip liner. Either way, it’s a lovely shade with a really nice finish and it’s going to look glorious stood amongst your makeup stash.

(I had to include a lip swatch as it looks so much different on my lips compared to my arm, not sure why!)

What do you guys think to the new CT Hot Lips Range?
