I said exactly the same thing in last months favourites but how is it September already?! It feels like I was writing my August favourites about two days ago, what?! I hate how time goes so fast during Summer, it really sucks. Anyway, just a few cute things this months faves, some you may have already seen in other posts, some you may not. A couple of things are brand new, as always, when do I go a month without buying anything? It’s literally impossible. So without further ado, here is what I’ve been loving during the past month.
If you read my blog regularly, you’ll have seen this palette in quite a few posts as it’s become a firm favourite of mine. I only bought it recently but it’s been my contour & highlight go-to ever since. I was debating buying this so much because of the hefty price tag but honestly, it’s so worth it. I’ve probably already said that exact sentence in another post but oh well. It is! I hate that I’ve ruined the perfect powder imprint but it was asking to be used, it still looks pretty on the outside so it’s okay.
So the story behind this is, after seeing every blogger under the sun raving about it, I had to have it. It was sold out everywhere! For absolutely ages as well! But finally, I found it and bought it straight away before the same thing happened to me again, and I am so happy with it. It really does make your makeup last so long, I mean if you have oily skin or an oily T-Zone like I do then you need a product like this in your life as your makeup just slides off. I still get oily but a dab of powder and a spritz of this sorts me right out without feeling or looking cakey. It has no faults, and is worth every penny.
I bought this palette ages ago, and not being a blush kinda gal, I never really used it. Until recently, I decided that whilst it was hot, I needed a bit of colour to my cheeks, and out came this baby. I love it because it’s got loads of different shades in for whatever mood you’re in or how much colour you want, and it also has a couple of highlight shades too. It’s only £6 as well and you get 8 shades so really, who can complain about it for that price?! I will never buy high end blushes as I don’t use them often enough to justify the price tag, so this is my blush best friend.
I was sent this by Sigma a while back and never found a use for it, but recently, it’s been literally the perfect brush for applying and blending concealer, especially under my eyes. Because it has a unique angled shape, it’s perfect for getting right under your lashes, particularly to fix any mistakes after you’ve applied mascara, as that’s the worst problem to get around! I just really like it and it’s now a staple in my daily routine 🙂
These are my new favourite lashes, I love lashes that aren’t too heavy on the eye, aren’t too dramatic, but make my eyes stand out and give me length and volume as my natural lashes suck. I really like these ones as they are fit for the job perfectly and so cheap too, I find you get such nice good quality lashes from Red Cherry for such an affordable price, especially compared to brands like Eylure as theirs are a tad more expensive and I don’t find them any better in quality.
I recently got some of these in stock for my shop and I love this one so much that I kept one for myself. It’s so cute and is full of note sheets and sticky notes. Perfect for me because I’m constantly keeping notes about blog posts I want to write or what I want to put in my monthly favourites. I also like to write a lot of lists so it’s great for that too.
And that’s it for my August faves, no doubt Septembers will come round soon enough! Have you had any new favourites recently?
