A little Fragrance Direct haul…

Today I’m collaborating with Fragrance Direct to show you some of the fab bits you can pick up from their website. I always thought that they only really sold fragrances, but after browsing their website, I realised they sell so much more. They stock hundreds of beauty & skincare products, including brands like NARS, Clinique, Mac, Estee Lauder, Rimmel, L’Oreal – just to name a few! I sat browsing the website for ages deciding what to pick, but in the end these are the bits that I went for…

Chloé Love Story Eau Sensuelle Eau de Parfum 30ml // £40.95

I don’t spend a lot on perfumes very often, there’s so many that I want but I always tend to splurge on makeup over fragrance. So having the opportunity to choose a nice perfume was lovely, and I opted for this one from Chloé. I’ve seen it about quite a bit so I figured it must have a nice scent, and I mean, how can you resist that packaging? It’s so gorgeous. I definitely made the right choice with this one, as soon as it arrived I had a spritz and it smells insane. It’s one of those beautiful feminine scents with sweet floral notes. I love that it’s got a sweetness to it as that makes me love it even more. You will be seeing this in many of my flat lays in the near future, for sure!
I’ve been wanting to try out some Clinique skincare for the longest time, so after seeing that Fragrance Direct stocked the brand, I took the chance to grab a couple of bits. The first product that took my fancy was this intense moisturiser. I do have combination skin but it’s leaning more on the dry side at the moment, especially around my nose, so I thought that this might help. I used this last night and my skin is already feeling lovely and supple.
As someone who suffers with quite a bit of redness on my face, I’ll jump at the chance to try a product that might help me out. So I picked out this daily relief cream that claims to help reduce redness. It’s one of the reasons that concealer is a “can’t live without” product for me, I just can’t stand the redness around my nose and on my chin. Hopefully this product will help me over time, I’m going to use it twice a day and see if I get results!
I love NARS products quite a bit, I think it’s possible to say it might just be my favourite brand? However, I am yet to try anything from their small skincare range. I’ve had my eye on this eye makeup remover for a while, the reason is because it’s oil free (I have oily lids) and it claims to remove all traces of both eye and lip makeup without having to rub. It’s also made for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers, which means it’s ideal for me as I wear contacts as well as having sensitive eyes. The fact that it removes lip makeup as well as eye makeup makes it even more worthwhile too, it sounds fab for cleansing off the likes of liquid liner and liquid lipsticks that don’t budge as easily. I haven’t tried this yet but I will keep you posted!

NARS Semi Matte Lipstick: Dolce Vita // £21.00
I’m always hunting for new lipsticks to add to my stash so I decided to grab my first NARS lipstick (minus the velvet matte lip pencils) and I picked up the shade Dolce Vita. I did google swatches before choosing so hopefully this looks as good on me as how good it looked on others. I like the fact that it’s a semi-matte as I’m not particularly into heavy mattes at the minute, especially as it’s Spring. If I’m wearing a matte, I like it to be a creamy one, so a semi-matte sounds perfect. I really like the formula, it’s very creamy and the colour is very sheer. It’s not a long-wearing lipstick by any means but if you want something really light and sheer for everyday wear then it’s perfect!

I’m really happy with these new additions to my stash – have you purchased anything from Fragrance Direct?
