Look of the day with the NARS Wanted Palette…

So you may know that I recently got my hands on the NARS Wanted Palette and I’m still a little bit obsessed with it now. I’ve been using it so much lately because it’s so versatile and gorgeous. It looks like quite a glamorous palette, but I’ve actually been using it on a day to day basis and creating some really pretty, but subtle looks. If you’d like to see a full review of the palette itself you can read my post on it here – but otherwise, for a quick and easy makeup look using it, keep reading!

Base:

I started by priming my skin with the LA Girl Pro Prep Primer which I love, I’m trying to mix up my primers more as I tend to stick to the same ones. I love this one as it blurs my skin and leaves me with a gorgeously smooth, silky base to apply makeup to. I used the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye in light to hide my dark circles and brighten up the whole area. For my foundation, I used the IT Cosmetics CC Cream in medium which I’ve been loving. I use two and half to three pumps of this to achieve a flawless look as I have quite a lot of blemishes at the moment and this covers everything nicely. For a bit of extra coverage over my spots & redness, I went in with the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in warm/medium. I set everything with the Too Faced Primed & Poreless Powder which mattifies my skin nicely without going cakey and gross. I also used the Art Deco Fixing Powder under my eyes as I find a loose powder sets my under eye concealer a bit better since they’re prone to creasing.

Definition:

To bronze and add definition to my face, I used the Urban Decay Beached Bronzer in Sun Kissed to bronze and the Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder in Medium to contour my cheekbones & nose. I used the Sleek Blush in Rose Gold to add a bit of rosiness to the apples of my cheeks, which also adds a soft glow too. To highlight and add a lil glowiness all over, I used the Too Faced Candlelight Glow in Warm Glow which I’m loving lately! I used both shades mixed to highlight the tops of my cheeks, nose and cupids bow.

Brows:

To fill in and define my brows, I used the Brow Gal Eyebrow Pencil in Chocolate followed by the Glossier Boy Brow in Brown to coat them and keep the hairs in place.

Eyes:

I started by priming my eyes with the Too Faced Shadow Insurance which is my go-to eyeshadow primer at the moment. I then went in with the star of the show, which of course is the NARS Wanted Palette! I started by applying Satisfaction under my brow bone to highlight the area, and then put a bit of Seven Heaven & Shadow Hill in the crease. I used Shooting Star to highlight the inner corners of my eyes. I applied a mix of Mendoza & Delirium all over my lid and finished off with a bit of Temptress & Coconut Grove mixed in the outer V. I lined my upper lash line with the CT Rock ‘n’ Kohl Eye Pencil in Barbara and then used Rimmel Wonder’Full Mascara to coat my lashes. I then popped on a pair of the Eylure Vegas Nay Easy Elegance Lashes, applied with the Esqido Lash Glue.

Lips:

On my lips I used the NARS Audacious Lipstick in Brigitte, which is such a beaut. It’s a gorgeous pink that’s super creamy and effortless to apply but lasts hours!

So that’s everything I used for this little look! Let me know if you liked this post and rate any of the products I used! 🙂
