When was the last time you pampered yourself? You know what we mean, taking time out for yourself, and giving yourself some me-time and special attention. Chances are, like many women, it may have been some time ago. Why? Probably because of the usual busyness of life, whether that’s looking after the needs of your kids or partner first, or having to go to work every day. You deserve a treat every now and again, so you do need to schedule in some time for yourself away from your usual demands. You are worth it, after all.

 

So, what can you do to pamper yourself? You probably don’t need us to tell you how; we are sure you have some fabulous ideas of your own. However, if you are a little bit stuck and need some inspiration, here are some ideas you can consider today.

 

  • Buy yourself something nice to wear, such as this beautiful lingerie or something that you have been eyeing up at the local store. Not only do you want to look good, but you want to feel good, so buying yourself something comfortable and attractive to wear will lift your spirits all day long.

 

  • Give yourself a facial at home, perhaps using some of our beauty favourites. Spend time soaking in a hot bath while you’re doing it, preferably filled with your favourite Lush bath bombs and smelling salts.

 

  • Book a night away from home, such as at a luxury hotel. Yes, we know it’s an expense, but as a one-off, there is no better way to get away from the pressures of life. Let your partner look after the kids, and enjoy the benefits of room service, the mini-bar, and anything else the hotel has to offer, such as a spa or a swimming pool.

 

  • Don’t wait for your holiday time to take a day off work. Again, it’s only a one-off, and you can use this day to do those things you don’t usually get time to do. Perhaps catch a movie at the cinema (or on Netflix), take a walk in the park, read a book, drive out into the country or to the beach… or whatever! We’re not you, so do whatever takes your fancy with your day off.

 

  • Throw yourself a “me party.” After all, you don’t always need other people around to give you a good time. Rock to your fave tunes, eat what you love, drink a classic cocktail, and party until you get tired and it’s time to go to bed.

 

  • Bring in the professionals, those people who can pamper you while you lie back and eat strawberries (or whatever takes your fancy). We are talking about manicures, pedicures, and even a massage to relax your tired bones. Benefit from their expertise, and you will look and feel great for weeks.
